Russia's consolidated budget deficit at 2.35 trln rubles in Jan-April - Treasury
MOSCOW. June 9 (Interfax) - Russia's consolidated budget for January-April 2025 was executed with a deficit of 2.348 trillion rubles, according to preliminary data published on the Federal Treasury's website.
The consolidated budget deficit for January-March 2025 amounted to 1.29 trillion rubles, meaning the April deficit came to 1.058 trillion rubles.
For comparison, the consolidated budget was executed with a deficit of 4.081 trillion rubles in January-April 2024.
Consolidated budget revenues for 4M 2025 totaled 24.392 trillion rubles versus 17.954 trillion rubles in January-April 2024, while expenditures reached 26.74 trillion rubles compared to 22.035 trillion rubles a year earlier.
Russia's federal budget deficit in January-April amounted to 2.931 trillion rubles, with revenues of 12.28 trillion rubles and expenditures of 15.21 trillion rubles.
The consolidated budgets of Russia's constituent entities were executed with a surplus of 488.5 billion rubles in January-April, with regional budget revenues totaling 8.147 trillion rubles and expenditures at 7.659 trillion rubles.
The budgets of the state extra-budgetary funds for 4M 2025 were executed with a deficit of 40.8 billion rubles. Revenues of the funds totaled 6.999 trillion rubles, expenditures - 7.04 trillion rubles.
The budgets of the territorial state extra-budgetary funds for the same period were executed with a surplus of 134.9 billion rubles, with revenues of 1.289 trillion rubles and expenditures of 1.154 trillion rubles.
