Russia's IT companies boost revenues 30% to over 13 trln rubles in 2024 - Deputy PM Grigorenko

NIZHNY NOVGOROD. June 6 (Interfax) - Russia's IT companies boosted revenues 30% year-on-year to 13.1 trillion rubles in 2024, Deputy Prime Minister and Government Chief of Staff Dmitry Grigorenko said.

"The revenue of Russian [IT] companies totaled 13.1 trillion rubles in 2024. This is about $170 billion. It is important that the rate of growth in revenue for Russian companies is 30% over the past year," Grigorenko said during the plenary session of the Global Digital Forum held as part of the CIPR-2025 conference.

The IT industry contributed 6% to Russia's GDP in 2024, Grigorenko said, and the government has set the task to increase this share.

Grigorenko said that the government is actively supporting the IT industry, and "the IT industry returns 2 [rubles in taxes] for every ruble invested by the government."
