Gazprom boosts gas supplies to Uzbekistan by 4.4 bcm to 5.6 bcm in 2024
MOSCOW. June 5 (Interfax) - Gazprom boosted gas supplies to Uzbekistan to 5.64 billion cubic meters in 2024 from 1.28 bcm in 2023, the company said in its annual report.
The company began exporting gas to Uzbekistan in October 2023 in reverse mode via the Central Asia-Center system.
Gazprom also said that the corresponding parties in June 2024 signed long-term contracts until 2040 to supply Russian gas to consumers in Kyrgyzstan beginning in 2025.
