Switzerland expands sanctions list against Russia
PARIS. June 3 (Interfax) - Swiss authorities have expanded restrictive measures over Russia's actions in Ukraine, adding dozens of individuals and entities, as well as nearly 190 vessels, to the sanctions list, the Swiss government said on Tuesday.
Switzerland's Federal Department of Economic Affairs said in a statement that sanctions had been imposed on 17 individuals, 58 organizations, 31 companies, and 189 ships. No further details were provided.
The Swiss authorities said that they largely follow the EU's initiatives on anti-Russian sanctions.
