Shmygal meets with French entrepreneurs in Paris

MOSCOW. June 3 (Interfax) - Ukrainian Prime Minister Denis Shmygal has met with French entrepreneurs and Minister Delegate for Foreign Trade and French Nationals Abroad Laurent Saint-Martin in Paris, Ukrainian media said.

"We highly appreciate the role of France in the restoration and support for Ukraine's infrastructure. The French government has provided about 1.2 billion euros in state guarantees for French investment projects in Ukraine. I also expressed gratitude for the grant agreement that allots 200 million euros for restoring critical infrastructure and priority economic sectors," the media quoted Shmygal's statement on a social network.

Shmygal said he listed promising areas for investment in Ukraine, namely the defense industry, energy, transport and logistics, construction, the agro-industrial sector, IT, machine-building, and extraction and refinery of critical materials.
