Ukrainian govt approves nearly $3 bln from Japan to finance prioritized budget expenditures
MOSCOW. May 30 (Interfax) - The Ukrainian government has approved the receipt of nearly $3 billion from Japan to finance prioritized budget expenditures, Ukrainian media quoted Prime Minister Denis Shmygal as saying at a government meeting on Friday.
The government also has a staff-level agreement on the eighth review of the Extended Fund Facility (EFF) Arrangement with the International Monetary Fund (IMF), and after the IMF Executive Board approves the decision, Ukraine is expected to receive a new tranche of around $500 million, Shmygal said.
