Decision to extend fertilizer export quotas from Russia may be prolonged in autumn - Deputy PM Patrushev

SIRIUS. May 30 (Interfax) - The decision to impose export quotas on fertilizers from Russia, which is in effect until the end of November, may be extended in the autumn, Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Patrushev said at the Russian Grain Forum on Friday.

"I think that in November, when we approach the moment when we will need to extend this decree once again, we will do so. We hope that, as before, fertilizer prices will remain stable," he said.

"We have been engaged in quite targeted regulation of the mineral fertilizers market over the past few years. We have fixed prices, and we have obligations from mineral fertilizer suppliers to deliver the necessary amount to the domestic market at a transparent price. After that, they can export," he said.
