Inter RAO sees no reason to alter strategy for managing quasi-treasury shares at current stage - senior manager
MOSCOW. May 30 (Interfax) - PJSC Inter RAO does not see any reason to alter the strategy for managing quasi-treasury shares at the current stage, Inter RAO management board member Alexander Kiselev said during a conference call with analysts.
"We do not see any reason thus far to alter our strategy [regarding quasi-treasury shares] at the current stage. We are maintaining the strategy that was chosen several years ago regarding the package," Kiselev said.
In its strategy until 2030, Inter RAO said that it expects to maintain its core shareholder structure. Among the possible uses of its quasi-treasury stock, the company listed forming partnerships with strategic investors, utilizing it as payment currency in M&A transactions, and long-term management incentives.
In 2020, the company's top management said it did not yet consider the use of quasi-treasury stock as a primary focus of its strategy.
