T-Technologies and Interros JV receives 9.95% stake in Yandex

MOSCOW. May 27 (Interfax) - Catalytic People, which is a T-Technologies and Interros Holding joint venture, has received a 9.95% stake in Yandex , the owners of the JV said.

The parties to the deal completed the acquisition via the JV of a legal entity, which was part of a consortium of investors that bought out Yandex's Russian assets in spring 2024.

Interros has clarified that the deal was closed at the end of May 2025, which the holding views as a strategic investment. "Acquiring a minority stake in Russian Yandex is fully in line with Interros' strategy to develop innovative business areas. We are a strategic investor and view the deal as a long-term investment," Interros said.

"T-Technologies has invested in Yandex without using the group's own capital and at an efficient acquisition price below the current market value owing to the size of the stake, profile, and financing structure. The value that the group is receiving from the transaction has a significant long-term positive effect not only regarding further growth in the capitalization of the group's stake in Yandex, but also regarding possible future collaboration between the leading companies," T-Technologies president Stanislav Bliznyuk said in the statement.

Catalytic People is a JV between Interros with a 49.99% stake and T-Technologies with a 50.01% stake.

Unified State Registry of Legal Entities (USRLE) data indicate that International Limited Liability Company (ILLC) Catalytic People obtained 100% of the shares in Meridian-Service LLC on May 26.
