Former MTS Bank CEO, MTS fintech head named senior VP of Sistema

MOSCOW. May 27 (Interfax) - Ilya Filatov, the former head of MTS Bank and the fintech division of Russian telecom provider Mobile TeleSystems (MTS) , has been appointed senior vice president in charge of finance and investment at Sistema PJSFC .

Sistema said in a press release that Filatov will be charged with adapting the group's investment process "to the fast changing market situation, developing and applying a broad range of financial instruments to increase the returns of the corporation's asset portfolio, and optimizing debt obligations."

Filatov joined MTS Bank in 2014 and was appointed CEO in 2015. In 2019 he joined the management board of MTS in the position of vice president for financial services. In December 2024, he was appointed senior vice president of MTS for financial services and head of the company's fintech division.
