Rosseti Center boosts IFRS net profit 32%, EBITDA 21% in Q1

MOSCOW. May 26 (Interfax) - PJSC Rosseti Center boosted net profit to International Financial Reporting Standards 32% year-on-year to 3.27 billion rubles in Q1 2025 from 2.48 billion rubles in Q1 2024, the regional power grid company said in a financial statement.

EBITDA jumped 21% year-on-year to 10.23 billion rubles in the reporting period from 8.43 billion rubles the previous year.

Revenue rose 6.8% to 37.57 billion and operating expenses increased 1.83% to 31.24 billion rubles.

Operating profit thereby increased to 6.59 billion rubles from 5 billion rubles the previous year.

Long-term borrowings declined to 37.3 billion rubles at the end of the quarter from 38.19 billion rubles at the end of last year, and short-term borrowings and the short-term portion of long-term loans increased to 6.4 billion rubles from 6.07 billion rubles.

Cash and cash equivalents totaled 7.34 billion rubles at the end of the quarter.

PJSC Rosseti Center, formerly Inter-regional Distributive Grid Company Center, includes 11 branches, namely Belgorodenergo, Bryanskenergo, Voronezhenergo, Kurskenergo, Kostromaenergo, Lipetskenergo, Tverenergo, Smolenskenergo, Orelenergo, Tambovenergo, and Yarenergo. The company is also the sole executive body in Rosseti Center and Volga Region.
