Nefis Cosmetics to start exporting household cleaners to Turkey
KAZAN. May 19 (Interfax) - Nefis Cosmetics, a division of Nefis Group based in Tatarstan, will start supplying its products to Turkish retail chains for the first time, the Russian company reported.
Nefis Cosmetics signed a cooperation agreement with diversified Turkish company Nova Solutions at the Russia-Islamic World forum on Friday that calls for exporting goods to Turkey.
Working with Nova Solutions will enable Nefis Cosmetics to supply its household chemicals to major Turkish retail chains Migros, BIM and A101, the press release said.
The companies began negotiations in 2024 and since then Nefis Cosmetics products have been tested by 2,400 respondents in 33 Turkish provinces, half of whom expressed interest in buying the Russian company's products, the release said.
Nefis Cosmetics, one of Russia's largest household chemical manufacturers, makes more than 700 types of products under the brands AOS, BiMAZ, Sorti, Biolan, Zavod Bratyev Krestovnikovykh and NefcoPro. The company's production facilities are located in Kazan and include plants to produce laundry detergent, liquid dishwashing soap, laundry gels, dry cleaning agents, soap and industrial fatty acids.
Nefis Group is one of Russia's largest manufacturers of fast-moving consumer goods, including oil and fat products, cosmetics and household chemicals, as well as industrial products and other goods. The group includes two major manufacturers in Tatarstan, Nefis Cosmetics and the Kazan Fat Plant.
