Ukraine terminates agreements with Russia on cooperation, mutually support in customs affairs

MOSCOW. May 16 (Interfax) - The Ukrainian government terminated the validity of an intergovernmental agreement with Russia on cooperation and mutual assistance in customs affairs at its meeting on Friday, Ukrainian media reported with reference to government representative in the Verkhovna Rada Taras Melnichuk.

The agreement was signed in June 1993.

The government also approved a bill on Ukraine's withdrawal from the CIS agreement on mutually counting service in prosecutorial agencies in CIS member states toward the overall service record, which was signed in Moscow on November 25, 1998.
