Tajik president signs investment bill into law
DUSHANBE. May 16 (Interfax) - Tajik President Emomali Rahmon has signed into law a bill on investments and on promoting investment activity in the country, the press center for the State Committee on Investments and State Property Management said.
"The law provides a legal and economic groundwork for investment relations and investment activity, including through the implementation of investment projects with the use of incentives and investment support from the government," the press center said in a statement.
The aim of the new law is to ensure "stability, responsibility and inclusivity and to improve the investment climate" in Tajikistan, it said.
