Kazakhstan, Belarus boost mutual trade turnover in agro products 12% in 2024
ASTANA. May 15 (Interfax) - Kazakhstan and Belarus boosted mutual turnover of agricultural products 11.7% year-on-year to $278 million in 2024, the press service of Kazakhstan's Agriculture Ministry said.
There was a jump of 19.7% in January-February 2025.
Belarusian Ambassador Alexei Bogdanov and Kazakh Agriculture Minister Aidarbek Saparov during a meeting said that Kazakhstan had sent a list of the respective enterprises ready to supply environmentally friendly and high-quality goods, namely rice, flour, feed, meat products, honey, starch products, offal, confectionery and sausages, in order to ramp up exports to Belarus, according to the report.
