Alrosa has mined largest gem-quality diamond in Russia's history
MOSCOW. May 12 (Interfax) - Alrosa has mined the largest gem-quality diamond in Russia's history, the company said.
The fancy amber crystal weighing 468.3 carats and measuring 56x54x22 millimeters was mined in the Sakha Republic (Yakutia).
Alrosa presented the largest diamond ever cut in Russia's history in April at a weight of over 100 carats, taking over two years to cut.
