Kazakhstan remains committed to OPEC+ agreement, will continue to fulfil obligations - Kazakh Energy Ministry
ASTANA. May 6 (Interfax) - The Kazakh Energy Ministry has said that it did not exceed its oil production quota as a result of external pressure and that the country would continue to fulfil its obligations under the OPEC+ deal.
"The ministry deems it necessary to address media reports interpreting possible adjustments to the country's oil production levels as a consequence of external pressure. The ministry categorically denies such claims," the ministry said in a statement published on Tuesday.
Kazakhstan reaffirmed its commitment to the OPEC+ agreement and pledged to continue complying with all obligations, contributing to the stability of the global energy market, the statement said.
