No plans to resort to special measures to increase 2025 budget revenues - Siluanov

MOSCOW. May 6 (Interfax) - There are no plans to resort to special measures, including tax measures, to increase budget revenues for 2025, Russian Finance Minister Anton Siluanov told a briefing.

"We are not planning to resort to any sort of special measures this year to increase federal budget revenues. You'll recall we had a special tax last year. I hope we'll cope without extraordinary measures during budget execution this year, especially given that businesses always baulk at such decisions," Siluanov said.

"If we are going to bring in any tax decisions, we need to do so from the next financial year, discuss them with businesses. We are not looking at such decisions this year," he said.
