Russia's FAS approves Magnit's acquisition of Azbuka Vkusa

MOSCOW. May 5 (Interfax) - Russia's Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) has approved the request from JSC Tander (the operating company of Magnit ) to acquire a stake in Azbuka Vkusa, the FAS's press service told Interfax.

"The share of the purchaser's group of entities in the retail food market as of the end of 2024 does not exceed 25% in any of the administrative-territorial entities where the acquired retail outlets are located. Therefore, the transaction will not lead to a restriction of competition in the specified market," the FAS said.
