Turkmenistan Airlines to resume flights from Ashgabat to Moscow, Kazan in May

ASHGABAT. April 23 (Interfax) - Turkmenistan Airlines will resume flights from Ashgabat to Moscow and Kazan and back on May 1, the company website said.

Tickets are already available.

As reported, Turkmenistan Airlines suspended regular flights between Ashgabat and Moscow on December 30, 2024.

Flights between Ashgabat and Kazan were suspended on June 2, 2024.

Reasons for suspending the flights were not announced.

A number of foreign airlines suspended flights to Russia earlier amid an investigation into the crash of an Embraer 190 of Azerbaijan Airlines near Aktau, Kazakhstan, on December 25.

Currently, Russia's S7 Airlines performs daily flights between Ashgabat and Moscow.
