Azerbaijan's Central Bank again keeps discount rate at 7.25%
BAKU. April 23 (Interfax) - The Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) decided on Wednesday to keep its discount rate unchanged at 7.25%.
The low and high thresholds of the interest rate corridor will be kept at 6.25% and 8.25%, respectively, the CBA said in a press release.
The CBA has thus kept the discount rate unchanged for the eight consecutive time. The rate was lowered to 7.25% from 7.5% on May 2, 2024.
The CBA's next scheduled meeting on the discount rate will be held on June 11.
