Russia, Indonesia considering projects to develop hydrocarbons jointly

MOSCOW. April 14 (Interfax) - Russia and Indonesia are considering joint projects in the area of renewable energy, developing hydrocarbon deposits, and in the area of nuclear energy, Russia's Deputy Energy Minister Roman Marshavin said during the Russia and Indonesia Energy Dialogue: A Course for Expansion panel discussion at the Russia-Indonesia Business Forum.

Marshavin said that representatives from Rosatom state nuclear energy corporation, the Institute of Oil and Gas Initiatives, the Indonesian authorities and energy companies participated in the discussion.

"The parties discussed key issues regarding energy cooperation and new prospects amid the rapidly changing global energy sector," the Energy Ministry said.
