Ozon Bank launches Ozon Pay service
MOSCOW. April 14 (Interfax) - Ozon Bank, an Ozon subsidiary, has launched its own payment service, Ozon Pay, the bank said.
The service accepts online payments on the website, in the online store, via the app, as well as through social networks, from any cards of Russian banks, or through the Faster Payments System (FPS). Ozon said that 57 million active Ozon customers that have saved their card details on the marketplace may render payments to partners in one click without additionally entering bank details.
Entrepreneurs may connect to internet acquiring at a fixed rate of 2.2% regardless of business turnover.
"This is the first part of Ozon Pay. We plan to add more options to the service, using all the technologies and marketplace capabilities that are useful for entrepreneurs. We also plan to implement merchant acquiring for offline payments this year," Dmitry Markosyants, head of transaction business for legal entities at Ozon Bank, was quoted as saying in the bank's statement.
Ozon Bank develops financial and payment services for over 30 million active clients. The bank offers factoring and credit services, settlement and cash services, online accounting, savings accounts for daily payments, among others, in the B2B segment.
Ozon Bank was 36th with assets totaling 263 billion rubles at the end of 2024 in the Interfax-100 ranking prepared by the Interfax Center for Economic Analysis.
