Businessmen Sardarov, Brozovsky become co-owners of Sredneuralskaya Poultry Farm

YEKATERINBURG. March 31 (Interfax) - Sredneuralskaya Poultry Farm LLC (Sverdlovsk region), which recently left the Ravis holding and came under the control of the top management of Ural Agro-Industrial Group (UAG), changed owners again on March 28.

According to the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, a 37.5% stake in the farm's capital was transferred to businessman Rashid Sardarov, while 18.75% went to Sverdlovsk regional assembly member and entrepreneur Vyacheslav Brozovsky. Irina Yastrebova, a co-owner of Uralagrogroup LLC (part of UAG), received 18.75% of Sredneuralskaya. The remaining 25% remained with UAG General Director Andrei Petrov.

Previously, Sredneuralskaya belonged to Ravis - Sosnovskaya Poultry Farm LLC, a company within the Ravis holding. In March, Petrov became the owner of 25% of Sredneuralskaya, while the remaining 75% were transferred to the balance sheet of the farm itself.

Sredneuralskaya Poultry Farm suspended production in 2021 due to the inability to handle wastewater disposal. UAG announced plans to sell the asset, saying that restoring poultry farming operations at the facility was economically unfeasible. An industrial park may be built on the site of the poultry farm.

Sredneuralskaya is required to pay approximately 127 million rubles to the state as compensation for environmental damage. The company also has debts to creditors. The proceeds from the asset sale were expected to be used to repay the company's debts.

According to the Unified State Register, Sardarov owns several enterprises operating in oil extraction and processing, real estate and the food industry. In the Sverdlovsk region, he is also a beneficiary of the Reftinskaya Poultry Farm, as indicated in the farm's 2023 report. It is managed by UAG.

Brozovsky is the general director of the Brozex group of companies, which produces dry construction mixes. He also owns several companies in the construction sector.

Ural Agro-Industrial Group is a vertically integrated holding that includes the Standard meat processing plant in Kurgan in addition to Reftinskaya. UAG is also a major co-owner of Ravis, holding 40% of the group's parent company.
