Ukraine withdraws from agreement on cooperation in communications with Russia

MOSCOW. March 21 (Interfax) - The government of Ukraine has terminated the intergovernmental agreement on cooperation in communications with Russia.

A relevant decision was made at the government's meeting on Friday, Ukrainian media outlets said.

"The agreement between the government of Ukraine and the government of the Russian Federation on cooperation in communications formalized in Kiev on May 26, 1993 was terminated due to the fundamental change of circumstances," the Ukrainian press said.
