Russia to compensate 700,000 bpd oil under OPEC+ deal by Sept 2025

MOSCOW. March 20 (Interfax) - Russia has committed to compensate for overproducing 706,000 barrels per day under the OPEC+ deal earlier than other countries.

The main countries that overproduced will compensate for this by July 2026, while Russia has committed to do so by September 2025.

Russia presented the following compensation schedule: March - 25,000 bpd, April - 51,000 bpd, May - 76,000 bpd, June - 102,000 bpd, July - 127,000 bpd, August - 152,000 bpd and September - 173,000 bpd.
