Putin-Trump call going well - White House

WASHINGTON. March 18 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin and President of the United States Donald Trump are continued their negotiations by telephone, the White House said on Tuesday.

"President Trump is currently in the Oval Office speaking with President Vladimir Putin of Russia since 10:00 a.m. EDT," U.S. Deputy Chief of Staff Dan Scavino said on the X social network.

"The call is going well, and still in progress," he said.

Both Moscow and Washington said earlier that the telephone call between Putin and Trump was being arranged on Tuesday.
