Kazakh energy minister arrives in U.S., will meet with leadership of Total, ExxonMobil, Shell

ASTANA. March 11 (Interfax) - Kazakh Energy Minister Almassadam Satkaliyev is on a working visit to the United States, the ministry's press service said.

Satkaliyev held a meeting in Houston with S&P Global Vice Chairman Daniel Yergin, the press service said. The meeting took place ahead of the opening of the international energy conference CERAWeek 2025.

Earlier, his deputy Alibek Zhamauov told reporters that Satkaliyev has scheduled meetings in the U.S. with the heads of shareholder companies operating the Kashagan and Tengiz oil fields regarding production cuts. These companies include Total, ExxonMobil and Shell (SPB: RDS.A), he said.
