Miratorg's plant in Kursk region begins exporting feed to Iraq
VORONEZH. March 10 (Interfax) - CJSC SK Korocha in the Kursk region's Pristensky district (part of Miratorg) has shipped its first batch of feed for non-productive animals to Iraq, the press service of the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance (Rosselkhoznadzor)'s offices for the Oryol and Kursk regions said.
"On March 7, 2025, under the supervision of Rosselkhoznadzor officials for the Oryol and Kursk regions, the first batch of feed for non-productive animals with a total weight of 12 tonnes was exported from the Kursk region to Iraq. The exporting enterprise (CJSC SK Korocha), operating in the Kursk region's Pristensky district, is certified to export feed and feed additives to countries in the Persian Gulf, the EAEU [Eurasian Economic Union], and others," Rosselkhoznadzor said.
Since the beginning of the year, SK Korocha has exported 103 batches of feed for non-productive animals with a total weight of 59.8 tonnes to Turkmenistan, Turkey and Iraq.
