Kazakhstan to reduce volume of oil pumped via CPC by 70% in March - deputy energy minister

ASTANA. March 7 (Interfax) - Kazakhstan plans to reduce the volume of oil pumped via the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) system by 70% in March, Deputy Energy Minister Alibek Zhamauov said.

"The lion's share of exports pass through the CPC. The volumes will be reduced via the CPC in March," Zhamauov said at a press conference in Astana.

Zhamauov also said that the reduction would be "by 70% of our volume in March."
