Transport of the Future LLC could launch drone production in Belarus

MOSCOW. March 6 (Interfax) - Transport of the Future (TB-Drone) plans to participate in a project to build factories to manufacture unmanned aerial systems (drones) in Belarus, the Russian company's press service told Interfax.

The Russian delegation discussed developing the drone industry within the Union State during a meeting with Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko on Thursday in Minsk. TB-Drone presented its own drones and models for their use in various industries, particularly monitoring, agriculture, and delivery.

"A turnkey plant project has been developed based on the country's needs for drones. It includes technological lines for localizing components, manufacturing drones for the agricultural sector as one of the main sectors of the economy of the Republic of Belarus, monitoring and logistics. We have received the president's support, so there is much work ahead to implement the project," the press service quoted TB-Drone CEO Yury Kozarenko as saying.

The implementation period and the amount of investments will depend "on the level of localizing the products and the agreements of the parties," the company said.
