Cherkizovo's Kursk Region-based poultry complex begins shipments to Tajikistan
VORONEZH. March 6 (Interfax) - Kursk Region-based JSC Kurinoye Tsarstvo [Chicken Kingdom], part of the Cherkizovo Group , has shipped the first consignment of poultry products to Tajikistan, the press service of Russia's Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance (Rosselkhoznadzor) Administration for the Oryol and Kursk regions said.
"The first shipment of poultry products, namely frozen drumsticks, totaling 39 tonnes was exported from the Kursk Region to Tajikistan on March 5, 2025, under the supervision of employees of the Office of Rosselkhoznadzor for the Oryol and Kursk regions. The shipping party, JSC Kurinoye Tsarstvo, an enterprise operating in the Gorshechensky District, Kursk Region, is certified for the right to export poultry to the countries of the Persian Gulf, the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), and others," the plant and animal health watchdog said.
The company has shipped 525 tonnes of products to China, Vietnam, Serbia, and Tajikistan since the beginning of the year.
Cherkizovo Group is among the top three leaders in the markets for chicken meat, turkey meat, and processed meat products. The group includes 14 poultry farms, 20 pig farms, one turkey processing plant, 13 meat-processing plants, 13 feed mills, an oil extraction plant, and around 360,000 hectares of agricultural land. The company exports its products to more than 20 countries.
