Trump administration destroying world order - Ukrainian ambassador to UK

LONDON. March 6 (Interfax) - The U.S. administration is trying to destroy the world order, Ukrainian Ambassador to the UK, former Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Valery Zaluzhny said on Thursday.

"It is not just the axis of evil trying to revise the world order... The U.S. is destroying the world order," British media cited Zaluzhny as saying at the Chatham House (designated undesirable in Russia).

He said the administration of U.S. President Donald Trump "has questioned the unity of the whole western world."

"And now Washington is trying to delegate the security issues to Europe without the participation of the U.S.," Zaluzhny said.

Politico said earlier, citing its sources, that four members of Trump's inner circle had conducted secret talks with some of the chief political opponents of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky in Kiev.

Before Zaluzhny made this sensational statement on the U.S. role, Western experts referred to him as one of Vladimir Zelensky's most likely rivals in hypothetical presidential elections in the future.
