Ozon Bank plans to begin issuing credit cards for individuals in 2025

MOSCOW. Feb 27 (Interfax) - Ozon Bank plans to begin issuing credit cards for individuals in 2025, Ozon Fintech CEO Vahe Ovasapyan said.

"We are launching a credit card this year, and are actively developing in this direction, among other areas," Ovasapyan said on Thursday during an online broadcast for investors.

Ovasapyan said that revenue in the fintech segment should surge over 70% year-on-year in 2025. The segment boosted revenue 2.9-fold year-on-year to 93.3 billion rubles in 2024.

"These growth rates cannot be called a low base effect, and we see how we could continue to grow actively through product launches," he said.

Ovasapyan also said that clients rendered 40% of all transactions outside the Ozon platform in 2024.

"We are targeting the number of transactions that our clients render with the Ozon card outside of Ozon to exceed transactions that clients render within Ozon this year," he said.
