Ukraine's grain exports decline in Feb 2025 Y-o-Y
MOSCOW. Feb 25 (Interfax) - Ukraine exported 28.429 million tonnes of grain and pulses between the beginning of the 2024-2025 marketing year (MY) and February 24, 2025, including 2.738 million tonnes shipped this month, Ukrainian media said citing the press service of the Agrarian Policy and Food Ministry and data provided by the State Customs Service.
Ukraine's total exports between the beginning of the 2023-2024 MY and February 26, 2024 stood at 28.579 million tonnes, including 4.703 million tonnes exported in February 2024, the ministry's press service said in a statement.
Since the beginning of this season, Ukraine exported 11.743 million tonnes of wheat (11.266 million tonnes in 2023-2024 MY), 2.113 million tonnes of barley (1.596 million tonnes in 2023-2024 MY), 10,800 tonnes of rye (1,000 tonnes in 2023-2024 MY), and 14.133 million tonnes of corn (15.439 million tonnes in 2023-2024 MY).
Ukraine's flour exports between the start of the 2024-2025 MY and February 24 are estimated at 46,400 tonnes (73,000 tonnes in 2023-2024 MY), including 42,900 tonnes of wheat flour (69,300 tonnes).
