MOSCOW. Feb 13 (Interfax) - The Russian government has drafted a bill banning state services, banks and communication operators from using foreign messengers in communication with clients, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said.
In a government meeting, he spoke about the changes to the legislation drafted by the government to prevent ill-minded persons from using information technologies to access citizens' savings.
"State services, communication operators and banks will no longer be able to use foreign messengers in communication with people. It will help prevent situations when ill-minded persons pretend to be employees of such establishments," Mishustin said, commenting on the proposed changes.
