Neis Group expected to open truck component plant in Rostov Region in 2026 - authorities
ROSTOV-ON-DON. Feb 13 (Interfax) - Neis Engineering LLC will open a plant to manufacture components for trucks in Rostov Region in 2026, the southern Russian region's deputy governor, Igor Sorokin told Interfax.
"The company has begun implementing an investment project to build a plant to produce components for trucks. The project is aimed at producing import-substituting products - eco filters, plastic elements and fittings with production capacity of about 120,000 eco filters, 150,000 plastic components and 100,000 fittings for towed vehicles," Sorokin said.
He said a filter production line has now been launched at a leased property in Rostov Region and production facilities are being built at the Novocherkassk industrial park.
It was reported earlier that the overall investment in the project would total 700 million rubles.
Neis Engineering, a division of Neis Group, manufactures oil, fuel and air filters for internal combustion engines. The company is 90% owned by Neis Service, a Rostov Region-based vehicle maintenance and repair company, and 10% by Bogdan Khmelnitsky, who also owns a company engaged in engineering surveys, engineering design, construction project management and technical consulting in these areas, the Unified State Register of Legal Entities showed.
Neis Group, according to its website, has been operating since 2011 and provides products and services in the field of trucks. The group has a presence in Rostov-on-Don, Stavropol, Astrakhan, Krasnodar, Novorossiysk and Mineralnye Vody.
