Kazakhstan boosts int'l reserves 1% in January - National Bank
ALMATY. Feb 11 (Interfax) - Kazakhstan's gross international reserves, including gold and forex reserves of the National Bank and funds of the country's National Fund, totaled $105.668 billion at the end of January 2025, according to the National Bank's materials, citing preliminary data.
Kazakhstan's international reserves totaled $104.620 billion at the end of December, thus reserves increased 1% in the interim.
Assets in Kazakhstan's National Fund totaled $58.511 billion at the end of January, having dipped 0.6% in the month.
The National Bank's gross international reserves rose 2.9% to $47.157 billion in January, including assets in currency totaling $21.320 billion, down 3%, and in gold totaling $25.838 billion, up 8.4%. The bank's net international reserves increased 3.3% to $45.008 billion in the period.
