Kiev adopts draft agreement with Japan on raising around $58 mln grant
MOSCOW. Feb 11 (Interfax) - The Ukrainian government has endorsed a draft intergovernmental agreement with Japan to draw around $58 million in a grant, Prime Minister Denis Shmygal said.
"Today, we are making an important decision, adopting a draft agreement between the Ukrainian and Japanese governments to raise a grant of 8.8 billion Japanese yen, or around $58 million," Shmygal was quoted by Ukrainian media as saying at a government meeting on Tuesday.
These are the funds of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) to fund reconstruction projects, Shmygal said.
