Gazprom Mezhregiongaz creates unified customer service center

MOSCOW. Feb 7 (Interfax) - Gazprom Mezhregiongaz Group, which handles the sale and distribution of Gazprom's gas on the Russian market, is establishing a unified customer service center registered in Veliky Novgorod.

Gazprom CEO Alexei Miller announced the launch of a new corporate reform at the end of 2024 which consolidated service functions into a single center. "A decision has been made to implement a service model for support functions within Gazprom Group. We are creating a shared service center where service assets will be consolidated. This includes functions such as accounting and settlements, real estate management, HR administration, legal support, digital services and customer relations," he said.

The new company, Gazprom Mezhregiongaz ECRK LLC, was established in August 2024 and is headed by Yuri Maximov, who also serves as an advisor to the general director of Gazprom Mezhregiongaz. The company's primary business activity is listed as data processing, information hosting services and related activities. It also covers software development, consulting and work in the field of computer technology.

A working meeting led by Gazprom Deputy Board Chairman Sergei Kupriyanov and management board member Vadim Simdyakin took place which was dedicated to implementing the service center project, the Gazprom Mezhregiongaz's press service said on Friday.

The event was attended by Gazprom Mezhregiongaz Group CEO Sergei Gustov, the head of Gazprom CPS Anton Kurilenko, representatives of Gazprom Neft and AB Russia, and executives of subsidiary and affiliated companies.

"Maximov provided an update on the company's formation. Special attention was given to the creation of a unified billing system, which will be a key element of the center's technological infrastructure, as well as the recruitment and training of highly qualified personnel," it said.

"The creation of a unified platform will ensure data consolidation, streamline customer interactions and expand the range of available services. The project's implementation will bring new products from Gazprom's ecosystem to the market, improving service quality and customer focus," it said.
