Central Bank of Armenia trims refinancing rate to 6.75% pa

YEREVAN. Feb 4 (Interfax) - The board of the Central Bank of Armenia has decided to trim the refinancing rate by 0.25 percentage points to 6.75% per annum, the bank said.

The refinancing rate of 7.0% pa had been in effect since December 10.

The Central Bank of Armenia lowered the rate eight times last year.

Armenia experienced inflation of 0.3% with a target of 4% +/- 1.5 pp in 2024 according to the country's statistical committee.
