Central Bank of Russia extends suspension of publishing data on foreign payment service providers for year
MOSCOW. Jan 31 (Interfax) - The Central Bank of Russia has extended the suspension of publishing information on foreign payment service providers on its website for another year, until December 31, 2025, the CBR said.
The regulator first announced the suspension of publications in April last year. The list of foreign payment service providers was published previously in accordance with CBR instruction No. 5429-U.
The list will continue to be maintained despite the suspension of publications, the CBR said.
The CBR has previously closed data on foreign companies on its website. For example, the list of participants in the Financial Message Transfer System was hidden in April 2022 after the latest wave of sanctions.
