Inarctica revenue up 10.5% to 31.5 bln rubles in 2024, but sales down 8.9% to 25,700 t

MOSCOW. Jan 29 (Interfax) - PJSC Inarctica , Russia's leading producer of farmed Atlantic salmon and trout, saw its revenue grow by 10.5% to a "record high" of 31.5 billion rubles in 2024, the company reported in a press release.

However, the company's sales by volume slumped 8.9% to 25,700 tonnes and the biomass of fish in the water was down by a third year-on-year to 22,600 tonnes at the end of 2024.

"The reasons for the year-on-year decrease in the volume of sales and biomass of fish in the water were the postponement of fish stocking in 2023, as well as a number of biological risks that were realized in the first half of 2024," Inarctica said.
