MOSCOW. Jan 27 (Interfax) - The Russian government's reserve fund has allotted 1.5 billion rubles to mitigate the damage from the fuel oil spill following a tanker wreck in the Kerch Strait on December 15, 2024.
A resolution to the effect has been signed, a statement, published on the Russian government website on Sunday, said.
"The money will be transferred to the budget of the Krasnodar Territory for mitigation efforts, including removal and decontamination of oil-polluted sand and beach recovery," the statement said.
