India awaiting Putin's visit in 2025 - Foreign Ministry spokesman
NEW DELHI. Jan 17 (Interfax) - The Indian authorities are expecting Russian President Vladimir Putin to attend the annual bilateral summit in New Delhi this year, but the visit date is so far unknown, Indian Foreign Ministry spokesman Randhir Jaiswal said on Friday.
As to Putin's visit, an annual summit will take place in India this year, as per tradition, Jaiswal said at a press briefing.
The Indian and Russian authorities are discussing the date of the summit and, respectively, Putin's visit through diplomatic channels, Jaiswal said.
