Russia's Fix Price retailer expects to open at least 700 new stores in 2025
MOSCOW. Jan 15 (Interfax) - Fix Price forecasts opening at least 700 new stores in 2025, the retailer said.
The company increased its network by 751 stores net in 2024 accounting for closures, with 732 stores being the chain's own and 19 stores being franchisees.
Most of the openings were in Russia totaling 644 stores. Fix Price also expanded its network in Kazakhstan, where the company's holding entity is registered, as well as in the United Arab Emirates, Belarus, Uzbekistan, Armenia, and Mongolia.
"We are also considering new markets for international expansion in the Middle East and in neighboring foreign markets, as well as in Eastern European countries," Fix Price CEO Dmitry Kirsanov said in the statement.
