Kostin confirms VTB profit forecasts for 2024 and 2025

HANOI. Jan 14 (Interfax) - VTB President and Board Chairman Andrei Kostin has confirmed the group's profit forecasts of 550 billion rubles in 2024 and about 400 billion rubles in 2025.

"We think, in my opinion, about 400 billion, perhaps slightly more, in 2025. In 2024, 550 billion rubles, as we said," Kostin told reporters.

The group boosted net profit 8.2% year-on-year to 452.2 billion rubles in 11M 2024. VTB generated about 100 billion rubles in December in order to reach the profit target of 550 billion rubles in 2024.
