Dyukov, Maganov, Vorobyov, Kudryashov, Alekperov Jr. included in SDN List

MOSCOW. Jan 10 (Interfax) - The U.S. Department of the Treasury has included in the anti-Russian sanctions list the heads of oil and gas companies.

The following persons have been included in the SDN List: Vadim Vorobyov (head of Lukoil), Alexander Dyukov (head of Gazprom Neft), Nail Maganov (Tatneft), Sergei Kudryashov (Zarubezhneft), Vladimir Chernov (Bashneft). Yusuf Alekperov has been added to the said persons. The release states that he is a co-owner of the oil services company Welltech.

Grounds for sanctions against Vladimir Bogdanov, general director of Surgutneftegas , who was included in the SDN List back in 2018, have been added: for belonging to the energy sector of the Russian economy and for supporting a government that has been sanctioned by the United States or breaches the conditions for supplying energy resources to Europe and Asia.
