Ukrainian govt extends mandates of 5 UZ supervisory board members for 6 months
MOSCOW. Jan 10 (Interfax) - The Ukrainian government has extended the mandates of five members of the supervisory board of the national railway company Ukrzaliznytsia (UZ, or Ukrainian Railways) for another six months, instructing the company's board chairman, Alexander Pertsovsky, to conclude civil contracts with them.
Independent members of the UZ supervisory board Anatoly Amelin, Alexander Doll, Gebhard Hafer, Sergei Leshchenko, and government representative David Lomjaria have been reelected for another six-month term, Ukrainian media reported citing a government directive dated December 27, 2024, which took effect on December 29, 2024.
The Ukrainian government appointed Anatoly Amelin, Alexander Doll, Gebhard Hafer, and Sergei Leshchenko members of the UZ supervisory board for three years on December 29, 2021. David Lomjaria was appointed a UZ supervisory board member for three years in February 2022.
The contracts of four UZ supervisory board members, i.e. Sevki Acuner, Andreas Matje, Oleg Zhuravlyov, and Sergei Leshchenko, expired on September 21, 2021.
