Ukraine receives $485 mln from U.S., World Bank - PM

MOSCOW. Dec 28 (Interfax) - Kiev has received $485 million from the United States and the World Bank as part of the PEACE in Ukraine project, Ukrainian Prime Minister Denis Shmygal said.

"The United States has allotted $465 million via the USAID. Another $20 million have been received from the World Bank," Ukrainian media said, citing Shmygal's statement on a social network.

The funds will compensate for social and humanitarian expenditures of the Ukrainian budget, he said.
